The Challenge: An OEM needed a comprehensive cloud-based data collection and monitoring solution for landfill reclamation operations across multiple remote sites with centralized analytics and maintenance management capabilities.
How we solved it:
- Implemented Ignition Perspective for cloud-based data collection and visualization with remote site accessibility across phones and tablets
- Deployed Ignition Gateway Area Network (GAN) architecture to normalize data from distributed edge sites to a centralized AWS server infrastructure
- Integrated Canary Historian and PostgreSQL database for robust data storage and retrieval capabilities
- Developed comprehensive KPI dashboards for historical analytics and performance monitoring
- Created dedicated alarm and event dashboards for real-time operational awareness
- Built a custom Computerized Maintenance Management System supporting time-based, runtime, and totalizer maintenance tasks
